Introducing Daily Community: Building Community one day at a time.

Let me tell you why I'm launching a second newsletter.

If you are reading this, you deserve a star on your forehead. Take it! 🌟

If we are not yet connected, please send a request on Linkedin. (Done?)

Now let me tell you why I’m starting a daily newsletter about Community Building since I already have a growing newsletter helping Community Professionals, Led by Community.

Led by Community is a weekly newsletter focused on content curation. We have put in place a small team scanning the web and communities daily to find the gems of knowledge, events, articles, news and careers to deliver the ultimate content experience for you weekly. (I know it is a big machine now, thanks to Tania and Ismot, my beloved colleagues on this journey).

Even though I do love to act as editor and share that with our readers weekly, the format of the newsletter and the expectation from our readers do not allow much room to include my thoughts or feelings about things as part of that initiative.

Then, I have been holding myself back to start writing my take on the community, my feelings about other professionals' work and how we can build better communities together.

I have been managing communities for around 12 years in total. Not always in official roles for big company names or startups. That was only the last 6, but always building connections, helping others and orchestrating things to get people to join safe communities where they could thrive.

From today, I’ll be sharing this newsletter daily, from Monday to Friday, since I have two dragons (Mia, 4 and Lily, 10 months) and the amazing Queen Marta (My lovely wife), who need me full-time on weekends.

What can you expect as part of the Daily Community Newsletter?

  • My learnings on the fly while managing The Nation for Community Pros.

  • My thoughts on events I participate in, host, or where I’m invited to speak. (Don’t worry, I’m not a rockstar…yet)

  • Tips and Nuggets from my experience building community programs.

  • Community Marketing tips, since I’m a Growth Marketer. (One of the recent roles was in Growth for one of the top community platforms.)

  • Recommendations from resources I’m personally using to upskill my community-building experience.

  • And a few other random life experiences.

If you have reached this far, again, take that star! Take it! 🌟

I hope you can subscribe and join me on this journey so that we can learn and grow together.

Let’s build community one day at a time…

See you soon!

Francisco
